Le Fleur

One of the most rewarding aspects of being a photographer is the ability to create art in collaboration with those who inspire us. Recently, I had the delightful opportunity for an impromptu photoshoot with my dear friend Alison, who has been a significant part of my life and creative journey.

Alison is not only an incredibly talented hairstylist but also the owner of Le Fleur Salon in Tacoma. I first crossed paths with her as a client, seeking her expertise to help me feel my best. From our very first meeting, we hit it off, and over the two years that followed, she became more than just my hairstylist—she became a confidant and a cherished friend.

Our friendship blossomed, and I finally reached out to her with an idea for a photoshoot in June 2017. To my delight, she agreed, and what started as a simple collaboration quickly turned into a memorable experience filled with laughter, creativity, and a shared passion for art.

On the day of the shoot, we gathered in her beautiful backyard, surrounded by nature’s beauty. The setting was perfect, and I felt a surge of inspiration as I watched Alison transform into the fairy godmother of hair. Her genuine spirit shone through as she posed with elegance and grace, making it easy for me to capture the essence of who she is.

Not only has Alison been a guiding light in my spiritual journey, but she has also provided invaluable advice that has shaped my creative path. Her encouragement and support have inspired me to pursue my passion for photography with confidence. I am truly grateful for her influence in my life, as she has helped me cultivate my skills and find my unique voice as an artist.

This impromptu shoot served as a beautiful reminder of the power of friendship and collaboration. It’s moments like these that reaffirm my love for photography and the connections we build along the way. I am forever indebted to Alison for her support and creativity, and I cherish every opportunity we have to create art together.
